One
year ago this week, David Greenwalt and I tried to predict
the fate of "Miracles." I said we'd hobble through
our first half-season with mediocre ratings and get renewed
by the skin of our teeth. (This was my attempt at keeping
my expectations low.) David, being David, predicted we'd
be a smash hit and turn into big jerks.
Well, bigger jerks.

So here we are,
a year later, and the results are in: we hobbled through our
first half-season, didn't get renewed and turned into big
jerks anyway.
What we didn't
predict was that people we had never met would spend hundreds
of hours devoting themselves to the life of our show, doing
everything in their power to keep it on the air in any way,
shape or form possible.
MiraclesHQ.com
is living proof of this devotion. It's a labor of love that
stands as a tribute to all the hard work done by everyone
who contributed to the show.
But more than that,
it's a meeting place for those people who care about Paul,
Keel and Evelyn and their adventures confronting the unknown.
For me, this site is a warm, cozy log cabin in the vast, snow
covered forest of the Internet. In this cabin, you'll meet
friends who can't stop asking the big, scary questions of
life. But when you're in a warm cabin, and the vast cold night
is just outside the door, what could be more fun?
To any and all
who find their way to the cabin door, I welcome you. Come
sit by the fire. Stay as long as you like. And from the bottom
of my heart, I'm glad you're here.
