The Save Miracles Campaign

Trio to Consider Miracles for 2004!

Following an intensive pitch process by the MiraclesHQ Team, popular arts channel TRIO has informed us that Miracles is on the short list for serious consideration for its 2004 Brilliant But Cancelled programming block!

The response is a huge step forward for all us Miracles fans, who have continued to fight to find the show a network home - and to (most of all) simply find a network willing to air Season 1 in its entirety. And it's especially gratifying following a few months in which further answers from other primary network targets remained hard to come by.

But in a response to the latest pitch from MiraclesHQ.com (encompassing the show's natural fit to Brilliant But Cancelled and a compilation of its rave critical reviews), Kris Slava, VP of Acquisitions, TRIO, responded promptly and commented that "one of the things we look for in our Brilliant But Cancelled series is a dedicated and loyal group of devotees - MIRACLES clearly qualifies on that front."

With all of the shows for its 2003 schedule already purchased and scheduled, Slava added that TRIO will be looking at Miracles as a serious potential fit for its 2004 season in the months ahead.

TRIO, the popular arts channel owned and operated by USA Cable (a division of USA Networks), was recently hailed as the "It" Network in the 2003 "It" edition of Entertainment Weekly. The show's Brilliant But Cancelled prime time programming block has achieved widespread acclaim in everything from recent issues of Time magazine, to Salon and Entertainment Weekly.

Among the many network responses we've gotten over the past four or five months, TRIO's response is unique not only for its commitment to seriously consider Miracles, but also for its sheer niceness. After the thousands of postcards, letters and phone calls to other networks that so often went without even a single response (or which, worse yet, resulted in hundreds of returned letters unread), TRIO shows that it's in a class by itself.

Stay tuned for more news in the months ahead as TRIO continues its evaluations for 2004 - and tune into TRIO to show your appreciation!
